Mekka Hornet
The game seems to be inspired by a mix of sci-fi and insects judging by the looks of the enemies and the player. The menu screen gives an impression of Japanese inspiration because of the font.
The game also has a pixilized retro look, but the colour choice seems to be a rather dull, possibly apocalyptic, brown and green combo.

While the game is hard (Mostly due to artificial difficulty, i'll get to that), the boss battle is actually rather easy compared to the earlier segment and other games of similar genres.
The difficulty in the beginning mostly comes from a combo of super fast enemies and rather poor controls, which feels rather delayed, slow and unwieldy. The controls are also the main reason the boss is "rather" easy instead of "super" easy.
The soundtrack starts off as an energetic, but very repetitive beat that starts to grind on your nerves after a bit, about half way some extra elements are added to the music but not much of an improvement.
